Hello, my name is Ben. I am a Native English teacher from England. I have been living and working in Hong Kong for almost 3 years. Previously, I worked in a boarding school in the UK as a residential tutor/assistant teacher.

Currently, I teach in a private school in Kowloon Tong. I teach Mathematics, ICT, English, and General Studies. Before this position, I worked for an Elite tutoring service, aiding students to gain entrance to elite boarding schools in the UK and US. I adopt a student-centred approach to learning with using a range of tools from direct instruction to inquiry-based learning to suit the individual need of the student and their goals. I feel this ensures that the student is always engaged and excited to learn. I believe I can do effectively do this with my communication and personable skills as well as knowledge and experience using technology in education. Read less
