“Knowing the skill is not relevant unless it can be used.” An ethos that I held close to my heart drove me to put my mettle to the test, as I worked and spent my life in different countries to find myself, my life has been nothing short of changes and constant learning through adaptation.

Being a native speaker in both English (British) and Chinese; I am described as an energetic, fun-loving and motivating spirit. Drawing inspiration from my adventures, I facilitate students through self-discovery, self-analysis and ultimately self-learning. My teaching style promotes intrinsic learning of English language awareness, analysis and knowledge through direct application. So that students are prepared for not only exams but continue their own development for life.

I teach English pronouciation and comprehension through direct application in a real life context, such as planning a birthday gift or hiking trip. With theoritical reenforcement after so students can understand why certain rules are used. Similar techniques are used in Trinity and IB syllabuses. Read less
