She obtained her PhD in Chemistry in the United Kingdom, where she lived for the past 16 years. In Hong Kong, she has worked for the prestigious Chinese International School as that school's first Scientific Director of Connected Learning, where she taught secondary students using a unique blend of real-life experimentation and academic lessons. My teaching method is catered to the needs of each individual student. It is a mix of discussion and problem-solving, real-life experimentation and analysis. I work with older students to help them write research papers, and to help them learn lab science protocols and the scientific method. I use worksheets, online assessment, and textbooks. With younger students, I teach using worksheet practice and age-appropriate reading. I blend fun with a serious approach to learning at all times. Read less
