I have been tutoring academic English and English as a Second Language (ESL) for seven years. I have a dramatic arts background and I make our classes fun. I do everything within my means to make sure that my sessions are engaging, worthwhile, positive, and full of value. I am skilled at assisting my students with organizational skills, homework, test preparation, and assignments. I do not feed answers to my students, but rather teach them to ask questions that will bring them to the answers themselves. If they do not have any assignments or homework to work on, I utilize lesson plans where I start by introducing the topic at hand in a fun and interesting way. Afterwards, I give enough time for my students to do some practice questions, and to ask me any questions that they may have. Read less

I have six years professional experience as a tutor, and I’ve helped children with their educational goals, as well as adults with their professional/educational goals. My number one goal as a tutor is to help my students reach their goals. I am patient and kind. I make myself available, and I will always reply quickly.
