Hi everyone!

My name is Hannah and I am a final year student at the University of Hong Kong majoring in Economics and Finance. As such, my teaching specialty lies in highschool courses such as economics and maths.

As a final year University student, I have had numerous experiences with internship and job applications and currently hold an offer in the finance industry. I would be happy to offer guidance to both highschool and university students regarding personal statements, resumes or interview practice.

I am of British and Japanese background, with a good command of both languages. In addition to economics, I would be happy to teach either of these languages. I would like to note that I attended an ESF secondary school here in Hong Kong and obtained a full score in the IB (International Baccalaureate) module Higher Level English Language and Literature. Whilst I am more experienced in teaching highschool level English, I am more than happy to teach both secondary and primary school students.

I am currently located in Lantau however am willing to travel up to a certain distance, and am happy to conduct lessons over zoom.

Regarding school subjects, I typically follow the textbook used by the student and aim to help them with their coursework, homework, or any troubles they are having with a particular unit. Regarding applications, I will review student work and offer guidance and suggestions for improvements. By engaging in a few back and forth rounds of feedback I hope to help improve the final piece of work. Read less
