English Tutor - Fast-track to world-recognized qualifications in English and Communication Skills.
USA Native English Speaker Teacher Suitable for primary school to high school students and adult learners. Trinity College London Initial grade Grade 1-8 Total: 9 grades, no written exams. After passing Grade 8, students will proceed to the Diploma stage, consisting of two levels: (1) ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) (2) LTCL (License of Trinity College London) Both ATCL and LTCL have written exams. The ATCL qualification is equivalent to the first year of a UK university, while the LTCL qualification is equivalent to a UK university bachelor's degree graduate. Many parents seek to fast-track their children's qualifications using this method, with obtaining an LTCL qualification during high school being possible. While it is possible to skip grades, it is not suggested since the 9-grade system is a well-designed progressive curriculum aimed at helping students learn all aspects of communication skills. Skipping grades may result in missing essential knowledge. There are four sets of exams each year: August/September, November/December, March/April, and May/June. Students need to visit Trinity's branch office to take the exams and will use a computer there to video chat with a UK examiner. The exam duration for Initial to Grade 8 exams is 30-45 minutes. As American teachers, we assist you in preparing for the exams and handle all exam application procedures. We will ensure that you or your children pass the exams with good results at an appropriate speed.

Experienced English & Biology tutor in Sha Tin or online, student at University College London (UK).
I am a current student studying at UCL in the UK. I am passionate about teaching and have privately tutored English, Biology, and Chemistry to students of various grade levels, ranging from kindergarten to high school. I have successfully helped many students improve their grades in these subjects and fostered their interest in learning. Having recently experienced the IB, AP, and SAT exams, I am capable of adapting my teaching style to cater to these specific examinations, focusing on the question formats and addressing the individual needs of each student. For younger students, I find that incorporating interactive games into my lessons is both enjoyable and effective. I also place emphasis on conversational English to enhance students' confidence in speaking. As I grew up attending international schools, I am a native English speaker and am also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. I can use whichever language is most suitable for the student, but I believe it is crucial to practice language skills and build confidence through active speaking and listening during lessons. During the summer, I will be available for in-person tutoring in Hong Kong, and I am also glad to continue online tutoring throughout the school year. I have experience tutoring both in-person and online, so I am confident that my lessons will be equally engaging and productive in both formats. I am looking forward to meeting you soon!

Experienced and Qualified English Tutor
I am an English Tutor who has lived in Hong Kong since 1994. I returned to Australia for the last three years of school and to attend Griffith University. I have broad experience teaching English to kindergarten children, aged 3-10, from a range of backgrounds, and have tutored students up to the age of 16. I have just finished my PGCE at the University of Sunderland, specialising in teachingprimary students. I enjoy teaching and believe that the knowledge, skills, and attitudes I have gained over the last few years have allowed me to provide quality one-on-one tutoring. Most of my life has been spent in Hong Kong, where I have gone to school, taught, and tutored over a seven-year period. My connection and understanding of Hong Kong has given me insights into the education system and its importance to students and parents. My experience tutoring across Hong Kong has taken me into the homes of many local students who learn in a bilingual and international environment. I believe my best qualities are my passion, connectivity and adaptability - I’m diplomatic and I very much like working with people.

Here to help you achieve English proficiency- in Hong Kong, or elsewhere (online)
I teach English, English Literature, and History as these are the subjects I am passionate about, and they are subjects I excelled at in A Levels. I am available physically in Hong Kong and online. I was raised bilingual, learning Cantonese and English since birth, and studied at an international school for 10 years. I then went abroad to study in the UK, taking A-Levels which allowed me to delve deep into the subjects that I now offer to teach. As a Law student, I rigorously continue to apply the necessary sentence structure, precise legal concepts, and analytical processes that will undoubtedly contribute to my teaching and your learning. In terms of English teaching, my skill set extends beyond just one writing style. I hope that the works of various poets and authors I have explored throughout my years of English studies may serve as inspiration and crucial building blocks through imitation and synthesis.
